So, besides the crammed bus, guys not offering us seats, and almost falling down for lack of balance while the bus went over the curb.... today was not that bad.

Where have all the gentlemen gone?
Oh for the fun of bus rides. Today we got on the bus, and of course it has to be almost full! So we were stuck standing for a while. Which generally isn't that bad if the bus isn't packed full like a can of sardines. While standing there we began to wonder where all the gentlemen have gone. Most of the people sitting towards the front of the bus where we were standing were guys. Why is it that nowadays guys do not automatically offer their seats to women? Are we too old fashioned? Is it too much to ask for what were once common courtesies? Is it too much to want guys to offer us their seats, or for them to open doors for us? I'm sure there are many other women out there who feel the same. And for all the gentlemen out there who actually do offer their seats and open doors we thank you and hope you continue to do so!

The Broken Scooter
Today while waiting for my roommate to pick me up from school i saw an incident that made me smirk and feel bad for a girl all at the same time. While waiting in the shade a girl pulled into the parking lot on her scooter. I wasn't really paying attention to her, until I heard a crashing noise. I had to turn to see what had happened. Apparently the bottom of her scooter was broken and was being held on by duct tape. Well when she got off her scooter the tape broke and the crashing noise was her scooter falling apart. She stopped, turned and looked at her scooter like "This is just a shitty day" and proceeded to turn back around and walk away. I felt bad for her, but the fact that she didn't seem that concerned amused me. :)

The Start
Hello friends.... We have no idea if anyone will ever read this, but if anyone does we hope it can make them feel a little better about their lives/days. This blog is going to be an outlet for us to express our feelings about the day, people we encounter, or our disastrous bus rides. Cheers!
